Dental Facilities
Both our surgeries are equipped with bespoke DENTAL EQUIPMENT.
This includes stainless steel "tub sinks" as well as dental machines with ultrasonic de-scalers and air powered instruments for tooth extractions and polishing. A scale and polish can help prevent potentially painful dental problems and tooth loss. The tub-sink is also equipped with a shower head so we can clean-up particularly dirty patients!
At Henfield, we also have digital dental Xray - a machine specifically designed for taking radiographs of teeth and tooth roots. This is especially useful in cats where root resorbtion can go undetected without dental X-rays, causing pain and discomfort.
