At Hawthorn Vets, we're happy to see exotic pets such as birds, reptiles and small mammals. Jessica Siantonas has a specific interest in treating exotic pets - she qualified in 2011 and also has a degree in zoology. She has been responsible for the treatment of the exotic pets at all her previous practices and has continued this at Hawthorn.

She has built up a large amount of experience during her career as a veterinary surgeon and is more than happy to see many exotic pets for anything from a health check to an illness. Hawthorn Vets is also equipped with a vivarium which allows us to hospitalise exotic pets. There are some species with which she doesn't have any experience, so it is best to call and check if you have anything which is more unusual!
