Covid Update 12th April 2021

Covid update 12th April 2021

Over the lockdown from the beginning of 2021, we were advised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) not to see routine appointments where at all possible to help the government initiative to avoid social contact. From the 12th April, these guidelines have been relaxed and we are pleased to say that were are now able to see all routine appointments and perform all routine procedures such as neutering! Unsurprisingly, we have quite a backlog from the lock down to work through and will be doing so as quickly as possible over the coming weeks.  If your pet is due a routine vaccination, check or procedure, please feel free to contact us and we will book them in at the earliest opportunity.

We are still welcoming one client per appointment into the practice (should you wish to accompany your pet). From 12th April, we are happy to examine your pet with you in the consultation room where we can. However, a nurse will be required to hold your pet to maintain a safe social distance. If you are visiting the practice, you can see guidelines on our protocols here.

We will continue to update our website as developments occur, but it is great that we are beginning the road back to normality!
